There are 2 main security issues to consider:
 Membership security, and
 Administrative security.
The membership security
The membership security deals with visitors of the site: Anonymous visitors might be restricted from some pages that logged-in users have access to. Also, depending on the logged-in user's group, some might have restrictions to sections of the site and some others might get different information on their screens when accessing the same page.

PL4E provides the infra structure for user registration and members authentication, to define groups and rights.

PL4E provides the site designer with advanced functions and illustrated objects to authenticate users and assign rights to them. It is then his/her responsibility to restrict access to certain sections or have the system display different contents, according to the member's right.

Administrative security
Administrative security deals with managing the site. Instead of assigning just one user to manage the site, the administrator might choose to create several users, each of which is assigned the right to manage certain sections of the site. For examples, some
users might change the class definitions, some others might be able to create catalogs, while others might be able to only manage advertisements etc.
The administrator might also create groups to facilitate security management. Other specific features may be incorporated in the future, please verify with us whenever you have a specific requirement.
